Prof. Karl Bartos, ex-Kraftwerk from 1978-1990, was in SP to give a DJ/VJ set. It turned out to be a perfect concert which he gave together with Mathias Black. Of course it was as well th emost perfect SP Kraftwerk-fans encounter: Nico/Sintetik/Tati/Amaury/Sandro and many many more. The concert even managed to attract a collegue of mine to join. So a most perfect gig (although was only home at 05:00 sigh..)
In order to kill my fee time in Boston I went to see an impressive 3D movie on the Imax format: Deep Sea 3D. It was only 45 minutes, but sure worth the money. Reminded me a lot of my Futuroscope (France) visit back in the nineties.
Creative effect when you rotate the camera phone while taking pictures with slow shutter speed ;)
Kylie is in a new advertorial for swimsuits at the H&M stores. Isn't that video showing copacabana?
Still have to install the racks for my CD and DVD collection. Until that is finished I have stored cd's and dvd's under the sink in the bathroom. Close to 1m2 :) (okok, its a little less, but still..)

Had just one afternoon in London to see something new. Went past the Tate Modern Museum to see the building and the exhibition of Gilbert and George.

Ryuichi Sakamoto playing music of the Brazilian Tom Jobim is just heaven to me. Why? Mid 2001 I was in a rough time. Job, health and love life had left me along and I was seeking for steadiness for my life. I decided to go to Brazil for holiday to meet some old friends, a long lasting idea which never had been realized before.
Just weeks before I left I pre-ordered in Japan the new CD "Casa" of Ryuichi Sakamoto, one of my favorite musicians. He had recorded an album with tracks from Tom Jobim, together with two Brazilians: Paula and Jacques Morelenbaum. During that holiday I did meet my future wife. And guess what was on my door step why I came home? The CD, which had arrived from Japan.
It did not leave my player for weeks and weeks. And still now the music of CD fills my ambience frequently. My life, my country, my music passion all mixed into one album, better it cannot be.
Enjoy this track "O Grande Amor" (=my big love). The audio and video recorded inside the house of (the late) Tom Jobim in Rio de Janeiro.
