Also in Brazil there exist some rules to ask for a license plate of your choice. e.g. a Honda Fit with FIT-xxxx or a Landrover Freelander with FRE-xxxx. Since these choices come with a cost and limited opportunity it never passed my mind to ask for one. Although I have thought of asking a license plate at a correct timing. My old plate started with DKG, not far away from DLF.
But this time I got a present from the licensing organisation, however I doubt it that new that they were doing that. The CZD plates from my little city ran out and they had some plates left from the DWx-xxxx series. And see what they gave me... DWI !!! Cannot wish myself a nicer plate :) (maybe: DWI with as well a number referring to my birth date embedded).
