1 week ago my ADSL connection just stopped. After varios calls to the support desk on my broadband provider Telefonica/Speedy they simply did not restore my connection. After asking support of the Ombudsman and even to the National regulatory office (ANATEL) they finally restored the connection today. It appeared that "a printer circuit board in the mini-DSLAM was broken", why it took so long to repair. If those ^%%$#$%# would tell that, I would at least have known WHY! Too bad that there is no alternative in my neighboordhood, no fibre, no cable, just ADSL, with only that ^%$^#$@%$^ company called Telefonica.
